Sergio Paulo Barbosa Valente, or better known as Duda is a Portuguese footballer who was born on June 27, 1980 in Porto, Portugal, and he is a footballer who played in the position of Portugal winger with the national team and clubs which he joined.
Duda spent much of his time to be fruitful professionally with clubs in Spain and collected more than 300 official appearances for four clubs.
Vitória de Guimarães Once together at junior level, Duda senior has not played a competitive match when he sold to Cadiz CF. In 2001-2002, Duda switch to La Liga with Malaga CF but he was loaned to Levante UD and helped the club reach the top 10 and appeared in the UEFA Cup and the Intertoto. In 2005-2006, he was involved in a contract dispute and Duda always played in most of the season in Malaga later in the summer he decided to join with the Andalusian club Sevilla FC. As long as he joined Sevilla on loan to former club Malaga in August 2008. During the season playing on loan at Malaga, the club barely entered the UEFA Cup qualification.
In late August 2009 after negotiations, Duda eventually moved back to the club permanently Malaga for four years. In May 2010, he scored a goal against Athletico Bilbao through the corner and he was also sent off during a violation when the match against Real Madrid. After suffering an injury during the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Duda had surgery and did not play at the start of the season. He returned to play only 60 minutes on 21 November 2010 at Malaga defeat against Deportivo La Coruna. Furthermore, on January 29, 2011, Duda celebrates 200th game for playing in Spain by scoring against Real Zaragoza despite his club's defeat.
His career began with the national team in 2007, when Duda made his debut for the national team of Portugal and keep playing as a winger. On August 20, 2008, Duda play when wins in the friendly match against Faroe Islands and he scored the first goal for Portugal national team though as a substitute. During the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, Duda was Often used as an emergency left back, by national coach Carlos Queiroz.
He entered in the final stages of 23-man squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa where Duda played twice when the group stage against South Korea and against Brazil.
