David Mendes da Silva Gonçalves is a Dutch footballer who is a special family name in Portuguese, he played as a midfielder and defender who was born in Rotterdam, Netherlands on August 4, 1982.
da Silva is a Cape Verdean heritage Dutch footballer who played for the Red Bull Salzburg before he ever played for AZ, Sparta Rotterdam and then seconded to the next with Ajax and NAC Breda.
