Robin van Persie
Robin van Persie is a Dutch footballer who played in the position of striker who was born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, on August 6, 1983. Van Persie began his career with the football team namely SBV Excelsior Dutch junior when she was 4 years but moved to Feyenoord at the age of 16 years because of conflicts with the coaching staff. Van Persie made his debut first at the age of 17 years and received the Best Young Talent Award KNVB at the end of the 2001-2002 season. He scored 5 goals in the Amstel Cup when it won from AGOVV on February 6, 2003. Van Persie as a late substitute for Feyenoord after a dispute with coach van Marwijk, even when the game against Ajax Feyenoord he became one who was attacked by hooligans. Van Persie started an international career with the Dutch national team for U-21 and take part in European championship qualifiers in 2004 and 2006. He played in the 2006 FIFA World Cup qualifying win over Romania and currently on June 4, 2005. Four days later he scored the first international victory against Finland.
Van Persie even become part of the Dutch squad for the 2006 FIFA World Cup final and he scored the only goal against Ivory Coast. Van Persie also scored a goal in qualifying EUFA Euro 2008 and in the tournament he plays in the position of winger.
Van Persie scored a goal in a friendly against Russia and Sweden and print headers in FIFA World Cup qualifier against Scotland. On 27 May 2010, the Dutch coach van Marwijk that he chose the Dutch national team squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
