Liedson whose full Liedson Muniz da Silva is a Portuguese footballer who was born on December 17, 1977 in Cairu, Bahia Brazil. He played in the striker position with the Portugal national team and clubs which he joined.
In 1988-199, he never tried to play in Poções, then during the season to join the club, Liedson moved to Prudentópolis a year later in 2000.
He started his professional career as a footballer at Coritiba Foot Ball Club in 2001-2002 when he was 22 years. His career continued as the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo in 2002-2003, where he scored fourteen goals in twenty-four appearances. Then, before ending with Flamengo, Liedson joined the Sport Club Corinthians Paulista in 2003 and he scored ten goals in eighteen appearances. Liedson then successively played in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo with the success of the individual.
Later in the year 2003-2011, he joined Sporting Clube de Portugal with a value of € 2 million.
In the next season in 2004-2005, Liedson became the top scorer in the Portuguese league, scoring as many as 25 goals and he became the top scorer in the next year in 2006-2007. He has also been ranked the top scorer in the Champions League in 2008-2009 and one of them against FC Shakhtar Donetsk on October 22, 2008.
On January 18, 2010, after an absence due to injury, Liedson scored a goal against CD Nacional, and against AA Gent in the European league, he scored two KING OF POP precisely on October 21, 2010. Liedson returned to Brazil and joined the Corinthians on January 31, 2011 at the age of 33 years.
Liedson international career with Portugal national team after the naturalization process that created controversy in August 2009 as the Portuguese Football Federation's (FPF) speed up his citizenship. After six years of accepted as a citizen of Portugal, playing salts Liedson country's national team began when the national team coach called him to the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Denmark and Hungary.
Liedson began play in 2010 FIFA World Cup tournament in South Africa against Ivory Coast in the next game but was replaced by another player against North Korea in Cape Town on June 21, 2010.
