Liedson da Silva Muniz or known by the name Liedson is a Portuguese footballer who was born in Cairu, Brazil on 17 December 1977 and he played as a striker for the Portuguese national team and clubs where he plays.
He dubbed Levezinho ('Slender one') because his body is sleek, Liedson spent most of his time at Sporting Portugal and scored nearly 200 more in 300 official matches, he also won a major title for the club and help the four titles for the UEFA Champions League and look for the Portugal national team as much as in their 30s, including the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Liedson began his career in professional football in Coritiba Foot Ball Club at the age of 22 years. Then he continued his career at the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo and Sport Club Corinthians Paulista, along with the traditional big clubs in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo each individual success.
Liedson then signed by Sporting Clube de Portugal with a value of € 2 million in the 2003 season. In the 2004-2005 season, he has scored the most goals in the Portuguese league by 25 goals.
