Eduardo dos Reis Carvalho, better known by the name Eduardo Carvalho is a footballer who was born on September 19, 1982 in Mirandela, Portugal who played in the position of goalkeeper for Portugal national team and clubs which he joined.
He began playing with Sporting Clube de Braga Portugal junior in the first division in 2006-2007 season. Eduardo then loaned out to SC Beira-Mar in the next season for six months. Furthermore, he was loaned to Vitória de Setúbal and became one of the key players for the League Cup and in qualifying for the UEFA Cup against Sporting Clube de Portugal in the final.
Eduardo back to Braga in the 2008-2009 season and he played in all league matches including the round of 16 for the UEFA Cup. In the next season, he helped the club reach the second ranked league and only conceded 20 goals.
On July 7, 2010, Eduardo signed a four-year contract with one club in Italy with Genoa CFC at a cost of € 4 and Braga will receive 25% of sales transfers.
His career started with the Portugal national team after UEFA EURO 2008 due to national team coach Eduardo invoked as a substitute for the game 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Malta and Denmark. He made his full debut on February 11, 2009 in a friendly against Finland. Eduardo also began playing at the final stage in South Africa during win against Ivory Coast, North Korea and Brazil as well as in the round of 16 was defeated by the Spaniards for not being able to hold a kick on goal from David Villa.
