Wilfred Bouma Dutch international football player

Wilferd Bouma is a Dutch footballer who was born on June 15, 1978 in Helmond, Netherlands, and he plays for PSV Eindhoven and the Dutch national team. Bouma played at left back or central defender.
Bouma started his career at amateur club SV Rood-Wit '62 before joining PSV Eindhoven on a junior contract in 1994, then he is on loan to MVV in 1996 and play in the Jupiler League and scored 7 goals in 33 games after helping his club back to the Eredivisie . Then he was loaned to the club Fortuna Sittard in 1998-1999. Furthermore, after the contract expires on loan to PSV Eindhoven Bouma back and he plays as a left winger on the 1999-2000 season but returned to left back position.
At the 2002 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, Bouma international debut for the Dutch national team against the Republic of Ireland on September 2, 2000. Then in the EURO 2004 tournament in Portugal he was selected to play as a central defender and continue playing in that position for the club PSV in the 2004-2005 season.
On August 30, 2005, Baston Villa signed a contract to Bouma with a value of £ 3,500,000. His appearance began to develop in the 2006-2007 season after recovering from an injury the previous season.
