Alexandre Rodrigues da Silva, known by the name of Alexandre Pato or Pato is a Brazilian footballer who was born on September 2, 1989 in Pato Branco, Paraná, Brazil, and he played for Brazil national team also Serie A club AC Milan as a striker.
Pato's football career began when signed by the Sport Club Internacional to compete in the Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-20 at the age of 16 years in July 2006. Debut was originally initiated against Sao Paolo that occurred in Estádio Palestra Italia and professional goals scored in those games. Pato included in the Internacional squad that won the 2006 FIFA Club World Cup and he became the youngest player to solve a goal in FIFA competitions at age 17 years 102 days. He also played in the Copa Libertadores on February 28, 2006 against Ecuador Emelec.
Pato was signed by Italian side AC Milan on August 2, 2007 with a value of € 24 million from Internacional.
However, due to FIFA regulations calm non-European, Pato was unable to play official matches until January 3, 2008 but allowed for friendlies and training beginning on September 3, 2007, the day after Pato's 18th birthday. He made a non-competitive debut against Dynamo Kiev on September 7, 2007. The new transfer officially on January 4, 2008 and initially debut against Napoli on January 13, 2008. Pato completed the 2007-2008 season with a total of 9 goals in 20 appearances (18 in the league).
In the 2008-2009 season, Pato scored two goals in the match against Udinese before the Christmas break and shine again against Roma, then he scored in the UEFA Cup against Werder Bremen on February 26, 2009. He scored a goal during the final season total of 18 goals.
In the 2009-2010 season, Pato scored his first start of the season against Siena on August 22, 2009, and when against Madrid in the Champions League on October 21, 2009. Subsequently he was awarded the 2009 Serie A Young Footballer of the Year at the Oscar del Calcio ceremony and became the first player from Brazil who got the award.
For the 2010-2011 season, Pato started the game while scoring a goal against Lecce, but in the next game he could not play because of injury and treatment. Pato playing again against Chievo at the San Siro. He had to miss the game again because of a hamstring injury and underwent treatment. Pato scored two back to playing when the first goal on January 9, 2011 against Udinese and subsequently in the Coppa Itallia against Sampdoria. Resumed when playing against Chievo and Napoli, as well as the derby against Inter.
In the 2011-2012 season, Pato scored the fastest goal in the history of five competitions in the Champions League, 24 seconds after kick-off on September 13, 2011 when against Barcelona.
Pato career with the Brazilian national team when he gets the advantage with the club where he played and was called to the youth teams of Brazil. Pato helped Brazil win the 2007 South American Youth Championship and qualify for the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup and selected by a national team coach for the 2008 Summer Olympics.
Pato scored his first joint at the senior national team debut against Sweden at the Emirates stadium England on March 26, 2008. He also took part to play in the 2009 Confederations Cup in South Africa but only played in the first round against Egypt. Pato was not called to the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa, but when the national team coach is replaced, he got a chance to play in friendly matches and scored in the match on August 10, 2010 against the United States. Pato also participated in the Copa América 2011 and scored against Ecuador.
