Pepe is a Portuguese footballer who was born in Brazil and is now playing for one of the world's best club Real Madrid as a central defender.
Pepe began his career at junior level with Corintihans-AL in 1995-2001.
After for more than six years of playing at junior level Pepe make appearances at senior level with the club Maritimo B in 2001-2002 and scored a single goal for ten times the performance. Later he joined with Maritimo on in 2002-2004 and managed to make 63 appearances and scored three goals. Completed a contract with the next Maritimo Pepe joined the club Porto in the year 2004-2007. He scored six goals in 64 appearances with the club. After playing for three seasons with Porto and then Pepe moved to Real Madrid in 2007.
In 2007, Pepe included in the Portugal national team squad and was first debuted in UEFA EURO 2008 qualifier against Poland. He also became part of the national team 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa but the trip to Portugal just because it defeated Spain's quarter-final.
