Pablo Gabriel García Pérez or Uruguay Pablo García is a footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder. He was born in Pando, Canelones Department on May 11, 1977. García is now playing in Greece for the club PAOK FC. Even so García spent much of his time in La Liga and collect 135 appearances in 6 years and representing four different clubs.
García began his career in Montevideo Wanderes after 6 months in CA Penarol later he moved to Atletico de Madrid. Furthermore, García moved to one of the giant Italian club AC Milan after two seasons can not get out of division B. After over 5 times in Serie A with AC Milan during the season 2000-2001, García loaned to Venezia in January 2002.
García moved to La Liga with Osasuna in the season 2002-2003 and he played for 3 seasons in Navarre. First appearance in La Liga with Osasuna against Villarreal on September 1, 2002 and scored the last goal in the match. In 2005 the Spanish Cup final, Garcia received a red card against Real Betis, although at that time he has become an important player for Osasuna. But García's been ogled by Real Madrid and eventually signed a contract for 3 years with Madrid. García during the 2004-2005 season received a total of 17 yellow cards and 1 red card. He made his debut for the club Real Madrid on September 10, 2005 and only played 11 minutes when Madrid against Celta de Vigo. García helped Madrid to La Liga runners-up in 2005-2006 then he signed a contract as a loan with Celta players for 1 year. Because of an injury and not much play, García returned to Madrid in July 2007 and then loaned it to a new club promotion of Murcia.
García was released again by Real Madrid on July 10, 2008, then on July 23, he agreed to sign a contract with PAOK Thessaloniki in Greece. Together with PAOK, he has received 3 red cards in 6 matches first. Garcia had been involved cases of beatings during derby match with Olympiakos FC and avoid the attention of the referee that he received a three match ban. But in the second season with PAOK, García play better and the club conceded just 16 goals in 30 games. García has renewed the contract to the club until 2012 and even agreed to reduce the salary adjusted to financial club.
García played internationally with the national team of Uruguay from December 13, 1997 in King Fatd Cup match against United Arab Emirates. He later played in the Copa America in 1999. Continued in the 2002 FIFA World Cup, he participated during the 270 minutes to defend the national team of Uruguay. But Garcia could not help qualify for the 2006 FIFA World Cup after Australia defeated Uruguay through penalty during qualifying race on 16 November 2005. Garcia scored a goal from outside the penalty box in the quarterfinals of the Copa America in 2007.
