Vurnon San Benito Anita or known by the name Vurnon Anita is a footballer Netherlands Antilles descent who was born on April 4, 1989 in Willemstad, Netherlands Antilles, and he plays at left back position.
While still young in Curacao, Anita started football in local team CVV Willemstad. After moving to Holland, Anita played for amateur club that is VV Maarssen then he joined the junior club Ajax.
In the 2005-2006 season, Anita was promoted to first team Ajax on March 19, 2006 and made his debut in the Eredivisie as against FC Groningen. In the same year Anita participated in the KNVB Cup and helped Ajax win the game. In total he played next season total in Eredivisie.
Anita started an international career with the Dutch national team U-17 World Championship in the year in the FIFA U-17 2005 in Peru. On May 26, 2010, Anita made his international debut for the Dutch national team as a substitute when the win against Mexico. Subsequently he made an appearance when a draw against Ukraine on August 12, 2010 and then its role is replaced by PSV Eindhoven player named Erik Pieters.
Anita initial squad also included in the Dutch national team for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa but on 27 May 2010, manager van Marwijk announced that Anita was not included in the squad for the end of the 23 who participated in the competition.
