Luis Alberto Suárez Díaz is the full name of Luis Suarez who was born in Salto Uruguay on January 24, 1987 and he is known to play as a striker.
Suarez entered the Uruguayan national team squad since 2007 and currently he is the captain of club Ajax Amsterdam.
Suarez was raised by his mother who became a single parent along with 6 siblings. In 2005, he began his professional football career with Montevideo Nacional, her brother named Paolo Suarez is also a professional footballer.
Suarez was married Sofia Balbi in 2009 and became a father of a baby girl named Delfina on August 5, 2010 which brought to Barcelona.
Suarez moved to Holland and play in the Eredivisie with Groningen when he was 19 years old in 2006 before finally joining Ajax in 2007. He brought a great impact as a striker at Ajax supporter, after the arrival of new manager Martin Jol as at Ajax in 2009, Suarez made since the departure of club captain Vermaelen to Arsenal.
In 2010, Suarez became Dutch footballer of the Year after the end of the season he became the leading scorer in the Eredivisie with 35 goals in 33 league matches and a total of 49 goals in all competitions. In 2010, Suarez became a member of a select group of players who scored over 100 goals for Ajax in a competitive match.
