Wesley Sneijder plays as attacking midfielder football of Netherlands

Benjamin Wesley Sneijder or better known by the name of Wesley Sneijder is a Dutch footballer who plays in the position of attacking midfielder and was born in Utrecht, Netherlands on June 9, 1984. Although Sneijder was not born in Amsterdam but he started his career at AFC Ajax youth academy. Sneijder followed his older brother play football when he was 17 years old and was first played as a replacement for Ajax in the victory against SBV Excelsior on 22 December 2002 when manager Ronald Koeman widened. Sneijder his official debut when the win against Willem II on February 2, 2003. Sneijder is known as a dead ball specialist player and scored from a free kick. Sneijder sold by Ajax to Real Madrid on August 12, 2007 with a transfer value of € 27 million and is the second most expensive Dutch player.

Sneijder started an international career with the Dutch national team U-21 as against Czech Republic on March 28, 2003.
