Philipp Lahm, the German national team as a defender

Philipp Lahm is a footballer who played in the position right back or left back. He is one of the footballers who do a lot of charity work. In June 2007, FIFA announced that selected Lahm to visit South Africa and support the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Lahm to visit South Africa is not just for the sake of implementation of the World Cup in 2010 but also to visit the SOS Children's Village and take part in the show Kick-AIDS.

On September 20, 2008, Lahm was awarded a Tolerantia-Preis for his contributions against intolerance and homophobia, especially in football.
Lahm was fined by Bayern Munich on November 8, 2009 due to give interviews that are not illegal in the Süddeutsche Zeitung about the club's transfer policy and philosophy of the game and the lack of strategic planning.
