Thompson is a Scottish footballer who began his career in profesional with the Scottish national team for the U21 national team and win control over the French in March 2002. But as long noted as a national player with Scotland, the new Thompson scored in May 2002. Thompson, won a few caps with the Scottish national team and he's one core player in the national team along with James McFadden, Kenny Miller and Steven Fletcher. Thompson played professionally with the national team in 2002-2004.
