Steven Thompson is a Scottish footballer who played in the position of striker and was born in Paisley, Scotch on the date of October 14, 1978. Thompson began his career in 1996 with Dundee United. His first debut as a substitute in a League game against Hearts on the idea in 1997. Thompson moved to Rangers in 2002 with a value £ 200,000. Thompson suffered an injury while in the club Rangers and he spent most of the game so he is allowed to move to Carfiff City in January 2006 with the transfer value of £ 250,000. During his first season at Ninian Park which is the headquarters of Cardiff, he played 45 matches in League competition. On January 14th, Cardiff's manager announced that the club had received two bids from other clubs for Thompson, but denied that Thompson still playing for Cardiff in time to deliver the club into the FA Cup final. After over one year was in Cardiff, on September 1, 2008 Thompson agreed to move to the club Burnley.
