Luuk de Jong is a Dutch footballer who was born on August 27, 1990 in Aigle, Switzerland is playing at the club FC Twente and the Dutch national team as a striker.
De Jong is the son of the couple athletes who play professional volleyball in Switzerland. His family moved to Holland when he was 4 years old and his brother who was named Siem 6 years old.
De Jong played football at first when joining the club DZC '68 until 2001. Then he moved to De Graafschap club for five seasons in the year 2001-2006. De Jong and senior teams playing in De Graafschap in 2006-2009 and scored 14 goals in two appearances. He joined the club Twente in 2009 and until now has scored 76 goals in 39 appearances. De Jong was able to add a collection of goals with Twente as long as he is still playing for the club.
De Jong's football career with the Dutch national team when he entered the U-19 squad in 2008-2009 and managed to score five goals in five appearances. He recorded playing for the Dutch national team U-21 in 2009-2011 and scored two goals in three appearances. De Jong in the squad senior Dutch national team in 2011 and has scored seven goals.
