Sisenando Douglas Maicon is a Brazilian footballer who was born on July 26, 1981 in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil, and he plays as a wingback with the Brazilian national team and club Internazionale.
Maico began his career at the junior soccer club Gremio and Criciuma and the latter with Cruzeiro. Maicon played with the club last reached the senior level for three seasons between the years 2001-2004. He made his debut as many as 56 games and scored one goal. Maicon was recruited by one of the clubs from France named Monaco in 2004. He played for the club for two seasons until 2006. Together with Monaco, Maicon scored five goals in 59 appearances. After a two-year contract with the club Monaco ended, Maicon join one Italian club Inter Milan in 2006. He became a wingback who relied on by Inter from the beginning he joined and until now have been playing as much as 155 appearances and scored 14 goals with the club. He can still score in the next game for Inter during the still join.
His debut with the Brazilian national team when he played in 2002 and a total of 55 appearances.
