Federico Marchetti is a footballer who was born in Bassano del Grappa, Italy on February 7, 1983 and he played in Serie A also strengthens the position of the Italian national team goalkeeper.
Marchetti began his career with the club Turino until he played for the senior level in the season 2002-2005. Marchetti made a surprise debut appearance at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa when he replaces the injured Buffon at half time during the Italy against Paraguay in Group F. In Marchetti's next two matches, he allowed goals in four out of five shots on goal.
