Xabier 'Xabi' Alonso Olano, or known by the name of Xabi Alonso is a Spanish footballer who played in the position of defensive midfielder or deep-lyng playmaker who was born in Tolosa, Basque Country, Spain on November 25, 1981. Alonso began his football career with the club Real Sociedad in the year 1999-2004, but in the years 2000-2001 on loan at SD Éibar Alonso. After the loan period is completed, Alonso back to La Liga. Alonso helped Real Sociedad are in second place in La Liga 2002-2003. In August 2004, Alonso joined Liverpool with a contract value of £ 10,500,000. Alonso had scored with a distance of 61 meters from the penalty which is a record for the farthest point in the Premier League when Liverpool against Newcastle United in the year 2006. And the previous season when he was with Liverpool, he also never scored a goal from a distance of 78 yards against Luton Town at Kenilworth Road when the FA Cup.
