Lukasz Fabianski (in Polish pronunciation: Wukas Fabianski) is a Polish footballer who was born in Kostrzyn nad Odra, Poland on 18 April 1985 and he played the Polish national team and for Arsenal in the Premier League as a goalkeeper. After starting his career with Polonia Slubice, Fabianski joined the football academy MSP Szamotuly when he was 14 years later he was signed by Lech Poznan in the 2004-2005 season. Then Fabianski signed by Legia Warsaw after the previous contract expired. He started playing against Arka Gdynia Poland and won the League championship in the 2005-2006 season. Fabianski was awarded the "Football Oscar" as the best goalkeeper in Ekstraksa Poland.
Fabianski joined Arsenal after undergoing medical tests on May 8, 2007 and officially signed Arsenal on May 11, 2007. His debut for Arsenal against Sheffield United and a captain in the match. Fabianski has also played in the match Pilala 2007-2008 League semi-final and lost to Tottenham, then played in the first leg of 2009-2010 UEFA Champions League match against Porto.
In the 2010-2011 season, Fabianski being second choice goalkeeper and made his debut on 21 September 2010 in a Carling Cup match against Tottenham. He has also been awarded "man of the match" on Arsenal.com poll. Coach arsenal even declared that Fabianski could even become the best goalkeeper in the Premier League. He suffered the injury while playing against Manchester United.
His career with the national team of Poland when Fabianski played for the U-21 and a friendly against Saudi Arabia on March 29, 2006 to be a backup goalie. He also played in the 2006 FIFA World Cup held in Germany. Fabianski playing in the UEFA Euro 2008 against Serbia on November 21, 2007. He also played in the World Cup qualifiers against San Marino and Slovenia.
