Fabio Aurelio Rodrigues, better known by the name of Fabio Aurelio is a Brazilian footballer who was born on September 24, 1979 in São Carlos, Brazil and in the position he plays left back or left winger in the Premier League club Liverpool. Aurelio has a descendant of Italian and he possessed dual nationality other than his native Brazil.
Aurelio was originally played soccer with Sao Paulo FC and made his debut in 1997 to represent the Brazilian national team U-17, U-20 at club level and the Sydney Olympics in 2000. He joined the club FC Valencia for six years. And participated in the 2001-2002 season winning the league trophy for the first time after over 31 years. Then on the next season 2002-2003, he took to win La Liga and the UEFA European Cup to Valencia.
After ending a contract with Valencia, Aurelio resonated with the English club Liverpool in July 2006 and he made his debut for the club in the FA Community Shield on August 13, 2006 against Chelsea. Aurelio was one good player before it suffered a setback due to injury during the first leg against PSV in the UEFA League and spent the 2006-2007 season by playing only 25 games.
Aurelio scored the first goal for Liverpool on March 2, 2008 when the match against Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok Stadium. He continued to play and show his ability to always be first choice at the club but in the summer of 2009 Arelio injury and did not return to play again a month later.
On August 1, 2010, Aurelio was signed again by Liverpool for two years. He made his first appearance after signing a contract when Liverpool against Monchengladbach as a substitute and wear the armband in the last minute of the game. In the 2010-2011 season, the first of four games including the UEFA Europa League, the league, FA Cup, Aurelio suffered another injury against Manchester City on April 11, 2011.
Together with the Brazilian national team, Aurelio was called into the squad in October 2009 for a friendly game against England and Oman, but not full play due to injury.
