Daniel "Danny" Wilson or known by the name of Danny Wilson was a Scottish footballer who was born on December 27, 1991 at Livington, Scotland and in the position he plays center back, left back for the Scottish national team and club Liverpool.
Wilson played football from Rangers junior team and became captain of the U-19, he was never elected as substitute in the 2008-2009 season including the 2009 Scottish Cup final against Falkirk but he did not play. Rangers started his professional debut for Rangers against Dudee in Pila League and play full in October 2009 and a week later he became the youngest player club Rangers in the Champions League against Unirea Urziceni. Wilson was awarded as the Scottish FWA Young Player of the Year award and the Scottish PFA Young Player of the Year award, he was also elected as the Rangers, Young Player of the Year by the supporters club. He played as much as 26 times and scored one goal. He was sent off in the 2010 League Cup Final against St Mirren.
On July 21, 2010, Wilson joined the Liverpool club and signed a contract for three years with the initial transfer of £ 2 million and will rise in value to £ 5 million based on appearances. He scored his first start on October 20, 2010 against Blackburn Rovers at Prenton Park and the first debut for Liverpool on September 22, 2010 in League Cup third round against Northampton Town. Wilson made his first appearance in the Champions League against Rangers FC on 18 October 2011.
Wilson's career with the Scottish national team began when he was elected captain for the U-19 and he was reelected to defend the junior national team U-21 in October 2011. On 16 November 2010, he played the first game for the senior national team and scored on his debut in a friendly match against the Faroe Islands and later when he was selected to play Scotland in a friendly against Brazil at the Emirates Stadium but just sitting on the bench on the 27th in March 2011.
