Daniel Munthe Agger or Daniel Agger is a footballer who was born in Hvidovre, Denmark on December 12, 1984 and he played at center back position with the Danish national team and English club Liverpool.
At the age of 12 years, Agger joined the Danish Superliga club Brøndby IF and then he managed to place itself as one of the core players who won the Danish Superliga championship in the 2004-2005 season. After Agger played well in the 2004-2005 season, he was called to the senior Danish national football team in a friendly match against Finland on June 25, 2005. Only 20 years of age, Daniel Agger was Awarded the Danish "talent of the year 'of all sports on 6 December 2005.
In the 2006-2007 season, Agger signed a 4 1 / 2 years with Liverpool for a fee of £ 6 million and making it Denmark's most expensive player sold to a foreign club. In May 2006, Agger played in 10 games and scored 3 goals for the Danish national team U-21. Agger full play when Liverpool won the Community Shield in 2006 and he kept trying to adapt to the English game. In the 2010 season, Agger began playing against Arsenal on August 15, 2010, but he suffered a concussion and other injuries that require to rest. And at the end of the season, Agger only managed 21 appearances for the Reds in all competitions, but he's still there for next season with Liverpool.
In the 2011-2012 season, exactly on the date of August 1, 2011, Agger scored two goals in pre-season friendly against Valerenga Oslo JIKA and he managed to play a Premier League game with Liverpool's 100th win against West at Brown.
