Graham Charles 'Charlie' Adam or known by the name of Charlie Adam was a Scottish footballer who was born in Dundee, Scotland on December 10, 1985 and played as a midfielder with the Scottish national team and for Liverpool.
Adam joined the Rangers during the 15th birthday on December 15, 2000 and his debut on April 14, 2004 when against Livingston. He also played in the 2004 Scottish Challenge Cup Final against Falkirk.
Adam then joined St. Mirren on loan in the 2005-2006 season and returned to play in the 2005 Scottish Challenge Cup Final and defeated Hamilton Academical, he also became part of who won the title of the First Division title in May 2006.
After playing for the Rangers during the pre-season to South Africa in July 2006, including scoring a hat-trick, Adam began playing with the Rangers in the first league game against Motherwell. He scored his first goal for the club in the UEFA Cup when the win against Livorno on October 19, 2006. On April 16, 2007, Adam was selected by the Rangers fans as the club's Young Player of the Year. Furthermore, on June 28, 2007, he announced that it has signed a new contract for five years with the Rangers. After signing a new contract, Adam played and scored the first goal in the UEFA Champions League on September 19, 2007 as against Stuttgart. Then he played in the UEFA Cup Final in 2008 against Panathinaikos and Bremen as a substitute.

Ranger confirmed that Adam will be contracted permanently by Blackpool on July 6, 2009 with a value of £ 500,000 over three years. In August 2009, Adam signed a permanent contract with Blackpool. His debut when he scored against Wigan in the League Cup and he was also elected by the fans in the Championship PFA Fans' Player of the Month for January 2010. Adam also helps Blackpool promotion to the Premier League. In the fourth week of the 2010-2011 season, Adam dispute with the club Blackpool because bonuses are not paid, but court defense. Even Blackpool rejected an offer from Liverpool for £ 4.5 million for Adam because he's become one of the seven nominations for the 2010-11 PFA Players' Player of the Year, but at the end of the season Blackpool degraded.
In July 2011, Liverpool signed a contract to Adam from Blackpool at a cost of £ 7,000,000. He first made his debut against Sunderland at Anfield on August 13, 2011. On August 24, 2011, he played in the Carling Cup second round.
Adam's career with the Scottish national team when he was called into the squad on May 11, 2007 for a friendly against Austria and the Euro 2008 qualifying Group B match against the Faroe Islands. Furthermore, on November 10, 2009, Adam played in a friendly against Wales.
