Julio Cesar Soares de EspĂ­ndola is the full name of Julio Cesar, who is a footballer from Brazil who was born in Duque de Caxias, Brazil on September 3, 1979. Julio Cesar is known to play in the Brazilian national team and clubs which he joined as a goalkeeper.
Julio Cesar started his professional career with Clube de Regatas do Flamengo in 1997 and while there he became a substitute goalkeeper. In 2000, Julio Cesar became the first choice goalkeeper and won the Campeonato Carioca as much as four times. The most memorable of his debut when he plays and became Brazil's first choice goalkeeper for the Copa America in 2004. During play for Flamengo Julio Cesar idolized by many supporters of the club.
He became a free transfer to Italian club Chievo Verona in January 2005 despite a further speculation since he played at Inter Milan. Italian Serie A League rules which apply restrictions non-EU players who make it have to play with Verona in advance even though he only played as a reserve goalkeeper Julio Cesar before actually playing for Inter Milan.
Although he appeared irregularly for the club but goalkeeper Julio Cesar to be included in the Brazilian national team squad.
In July 2005, Julio Cesar officially signed a new three-year contract with Inter Milan. He joined Inter Milan in the 2005-2006 season and is expected to become the second keeper after Toldo. Spent his first match on the bench at Inter won the Supercoppa Italiana. In July 2009, Julio Cesar selected by ESPN as the best Brazilian player of the 2008-2009 season. He also received the Premio Futebol no Mundo (Football in the World Award) in November 2009 and subsequently signed a new contract with Inter until 2014. Julio Cesar started his international career with the Brazilian national team in 2003 while he was a reserve goalkeeper for Dida. He also included in the Brazil squad for the Confederations Cup in 2003 but by then he had not played. His first appearance at the Copa America in 2004, Julio Cesar became the first choice goalkeeper.
Even when in the final against Argentina, he managed to block a penalty kick and won the game. But he remains a reserve goalkeeper for the next three years, including when, for the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup and Copa America 2007.
