Gerard Pique, the centre back football player of Spain

Gerard Pique Bernabeu is a Spanish footballer who plays at center back position. He was born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain on February 2, 1987. Pique beginning of his career playing junior football with Barcelona, then he moved to and played for four years with Manchester United since 2004 before finally returning to Barcelona under coach Pep Guardiola and Barça won the treble winner delivers. Pique is one player who won the Champions League two times in a row with different clubs.
Pique began his football career with the Spanish national team at under-19 and won the 2006 U-19 European Championship in Poland as against Scotland. He played well in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup and scored when Spain won against Brazil in the round of 16 large. But Spain and the Czech Republic eliminated at the final stage.
On February 6, 2009, Pique summoned the senior national team squad for the friendly match against England. On February 11, he played throughout the match in Seville. Then on March 28, 2009, Pique scored a single national team at 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Turkey in Madrid. Two days later, he helped the team win in the preliminary round group. Pique was chosen as the center core back in 2010 FIFA World Cup. And a peak performance when the Spanish national team at 2010 FIFA World Cup final defeat Netherlands, on July 11, 2010 which was held in South Africa after earlier in the quarter-final round and defeated Germany beat Paraguay in the semi-finals.
Pique also represented the national team and initially make its debut on February 11, 2009. As of July 2010, Pique scored four goals in 23 games and he was always the core players in the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
