Xabier 'Xabi' Alonso Olano, or known by the name of Xabi Alonso is a Spanish footballer who played in the position of defensive midfielder or deep-lyng playmaker who was born in Tolosa, Basque Country, Spain on November 25, 1981. Alonso began his football career with the club Real Sociedad in the year 1999-2004, but in the years 2000-2001 on loan at SD √Čibar Alonso. After the loan period is completed, Alonso back to La Liga. Alonso helped Real Sociedad are in second place in La Liga 2002-2003. In August 2004, Alonso joined Liverpool with a contract value of £ 10,500,000. And the previous season when he was with Liverpool, he also never scored a goal from a distance of 78 yards against Luton Town at Kenilworth Road when the FA Cup.
