Jon Richard Eckersley is a British footballer who was born in Saltford, England on March 12, 1989 and he played at full-back position. Eckersley appeared the first time with Manchester United as against Manchester City in February 2004 when his age was 14 years old. With Manchester United, he played as a substitute and brought his club reach the Lanchester Senior Cup and Manchester Senior Cup. Even Eckersley never played as a substitute in the Champions League group stage. Eckersley continued his career as a reserve player in the year 2008-2009 when the club played against Middlesbrough in the League Cup third round and give depth to her first debut in the FA Cup. On March 1, 2009, Eckersley won the first medal with his team when beating Tottenham Hotspur in the League Cup penalty shoot-out in the Final. On July 15, 2009, Eckersley signed a contract with the club Burnley for four years. However, as long as he was with Burnley on loan to Plymouth Argyle on March 5, 2010 during the first month.
