Calvin Erik Johan Elmander is a Swedish footballer who was born on May 27, 1981 at Alingsås, Sweden and played in the position of striker and winger. Elmander started his career as a striker at the club and became a Swedish midfielder when playing in IF and Örgryte before he moved to Dutch club Feyenord at age 18 years. Although never as a core player but as a substitute in the FA Cup Final win against German club is Borussia Dortmund. Before the 2004-2005 season, he was bought by the Danish Superliga outfit Brøndby. Elmander was chosen as Brøndby's Player of the Year. Elmander is one player who is called to represent Sweden in the FIFA World Cup in 2006. On July 7, 2006, Elmander signed a contract for four years with the French club Toulose. Elmander in his first season with Toulouse FC scored 11 goals and he was elected as Player of the Year. Then on June 27, 2008, Elmander moving to Premire League with Bolton Wanderers for three seasons with a total contract value of £ 8,200,000.
