Jlloyd Samuel is a footballer who was born in San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago on March 29, 1981 and played in the position of defender. Beginning his career when he attended St. Samuel. Joseph's Academy, Blackheath, London in the 1990s and became part of a student soccer team. Samuel spent his youth in Charlton Athletic before signing a contract with Aston Villa. Since the early career at Aston Villa, samuel loaned to Gillingham FC on 25 October and December 3, 2001. In March 2007, Samuel hinted at his personal website that his contract with Aston Villa over the 10 years ended. Then Samuel signed a contract with Bolton Wanderers for four years on July 1, 2007. At the European Championships in 2002, Samuel entered the national team squad preformance but due to a prolonged injury that he had not played. Samuel also said that he wanted to play to represent Trinidad and Tobago at the World Cup in 2006 but the application was rejected by FIFA. Samuel lost the chance to play with the national team after Wilfred Bouma who is a defender who plays with Dutch club PSV Eindoven in the 2005-2006 season, elected to the national team squad. Samuel also received a call earlier in the England team in the spring of 2004-2005, but when Sven Goran Eriksson is to train the Three Lion, Samuel was not chosen and decided to play in his native country. On August 7, 2009, Jlloyd Samuel and Bobby Zamora received a passport and they deserve to play in the national team of Trinidad.
