Rafn Grétar Steinsson Iceland is a footballer who played at right back position, and was born in Siglufjörður, Iceland on 9 January 1982. Steinsson began his career at local club and then moved to KS Siglufjörður IA Akranes before playing professionally in the Swiss club BSC Young Boys of Middlesbrough. On July 2, 2007, AZ Alkmaar announced that the club has received an offer from Middlesbrough for € 3.5 million, but the AZ Alkmaar back and ask for bids increased to £ 4m but distract Middlesbrough. Later in the year 2008, Steinsson joined Bolton Wanderers. At the international level, Steinsson is a player who always played regularly in the national team he debuted Iceland and against Brazil in a friendly match in 2002 and is believed to be the captain of the national team.
