Alex MacDonald is a Scottish footballer who was born in Warrington, England on April 14, 1990 and he played in the striker position. MacDonald was promoted to the senior team in 2007-2008 and in the meantime he became a replacement player. MacDonald beginning play against Cardiff City when replacing Wade Elliott on April 26, 2008. Although MacDonald was born in England, he qualified to play with the Scottish national team for the U19 and some time later MacDonald summoned again by the Scottish national team for the U21.
