Veijeany Christopher Samba is a Congolese-born footballer Créteil, France who was born on March 28, 1984, and he plays in the defender position. Samba started his career with FC Rouen, before moving to CS Sedan. Samba played in 20 appearances, while in Germany, then he joined the Herta BSC II in 2004-2006 and Herta BSC in 2007. While in Germany, Samba appeared in 28 games in all competitions, including eight game EURO Cup. Samba completing a contract with Herta BSC and joined Blackburn Rovers in a deal for three and a half year contract and an agreed contract value amounting to £ 450,000 on January 25, 2007. With Blackburn debut against Luton Town in the FA Cup fourth round and in Premire League debut against Chelsea on January 31, 2007. On October 22, 2007, Samba signed a new contract with Blackburn and will stay at Blackburn until the summer of 2012. Although born in France, but the Samba listed as a player in the national team of the Congo.
