James McFadden is a Scottish footballer who played in the winger and a forward position. McFadden was born in Glasgow, Scotland on April 14, 1983. McFadden initial debut, when he joined Motherwell in the age of 17 years. McFadden began to be known during the 2002-03 SPL season, scoring 19 goals from 34 games to win Scotland's Young Player of the Year Award. McFadden signed a contract with Everton during the five seasons from 2003-2008. On 18 January 2008 McFadden joined Birmingham City, signing a three-and-a-half-year contract with an option for additional two years, for an initial fee of £5 million, potentially rising to £6m depending on appearances. McFadden career with the Scottish national team in 2002. McFadden also played at the EURO qualification on September 12, 2008 against France. McFadden also scored two goals during the match in Scotland against the Netherlands.
