Brad Friedel was born in Lakewood, Ohio, United States on May 18, 1971 is a football player an American. He played in the goalkeeping position. Early in his young career when Friedel played with college soccer at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). To pursue a professional career, Friedel to leave UCLA. At the beginning of UCLA, Friedel tried in British football club and joined Nottingham Forest under Brian Clough but rejected the leadership. In contrast, Friedel signed a contract with the United States Soccer Federation to play exclusively with the United States national team at the 1994 FIFA World Cup. Year 1995-1996, Friedel plays for Turkish club Galatasaray and with the Columbus Crew in the year 1996-1997. Liverpool decided to buy a contract Friedel from Columbus Crew for $ 1.7 million in 1997. Friedel played with Liverpool for three seasons. After the contract with Liverpool runs out, he was signed by Blackburn Rovers in November 2000 and during the years 2000 to 2001 Friedel played with consistency. Friedel finally contracted to Rovers for eight years. On July 25, Friedel contract talks with Aston Villa and he eventually signed a contract for three seasons with Aston Villa in 2008.
