Luís Carlos Almeida da Cunha, or better known as Nani is a Portuguese footballer who was born on 17 November 1986 in Praia, Cape Verde is currently playing as a winger with English giants Manchester United in the Premier League and for the national team of Portugal.
Although most of her playing with his right foot but he can also be used on the left wing even compared to her compatriot Nani C. Ronaldo.
Nani was born in Cape Verde and emigrated to Europe with his family at an early age. He grew up in Portugal and start a football career at local side with Real Massamá. At age sixteen, Nani started training with Benfica and Sporting CP and eventually he joined the youth team Sporting after pre-season training.
In 2005, Nani made his professional debut at the club and won the Cup of Portugal in the second season with the club.
He earned the nickname 'SJPF Young Player of the Month' in May 2007. At the time of his appearance with Sporting peaked, Nani decided to move to the Premier League with Manchester United in July 2007 with a value of € 25,500,000. Over the past along with Manchester United, Nani has won the Community Shield on its competitive debut and added with a few trophies of which include the Premier League and Champions League. He has established himself as first choice winger and Manchester United have won more Premier League, Football League Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, Community Shield and two other titles. Personally Nani has been incorporated into the Professional footballers' Association (PFA) Premier League Team of the Year on one occasion and is a candidate for 'the PFA Young Player of the Year' in 2011. Nani is also an international footballer Portugal. Before playing at senior level, Nani played for Portugal U-21 in 2006-2007 and scored one goal in ten appearances.
He made his senior international debut with the national team of Portugal in September 2006 in a friendly against Denmark and scored his first international goal during the defeat in Copenhagen. Since its initial debut internationally, he has made 45 appearances and scored nine goals for Portugal.
