Kolo Touré is a central defender of Ivory Coast

Kolo Habib Touré is a footballer who was born in Bouake, Côte d'Ivoire on March 19, 1981, who plays for Manchester City club and national team of Ivory Coast. Touré joined the senior club outside the country in February 2002 from ASEC Mimosas with Arsenal for a transfer fee of £ 150,000 after the trial period. He did not make the first debut for Arsenal against Liverpool in the FA Community Shield in August 2002. But Toure scored the first goal when Arsenal against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, then he became a part that won the FA Cup as a substitute in the final but did not play. In the 2003-2004 season, Toure played as a central defender and a team that is undefeated on the season. Touré struggling to get into the team for the 2004-2005 season, and he managed to end the season with a medal and FA Cup play 50 times. Toure also scored a goal in the Champions League in the 90th minute in the last 16 against Bayern Munich. He has established himself to be the best center-back Premier League and became a favorite player by Arsenal fans. Touré became one of the players who helped Arsenal reach the 2006 UEFA Champions League Final. On 19 April 2006, Toure scored the second goal in the first leg Champions League semi-final against Villarreal. In the 2006-2007 season, Toure signed a new contract with Arsenal in August 2006 for four years with a value of £ 70,000 a week and he became captain of the club that season, exactly on the date of January 9, 2007 against Liverpool in the League Cup. Touré is still believed to be a captain in the 2007-2008 season when Arsenal against Blackburn. On 13 April 2010, Touré asked for a move from Arsenal because bust-up with his playing partners. However, his request is not approved, for while he was still committed to the Gunners until the summer. On July 28, 2009 Manchester City finally approved the transfer fee for Toure from Arsenal for £ 16 million after passing a medical examination on July 29, 2009. Toure signed a four-year contract with Manchester City. He was appointed captain and scored the first goal against Burnley in the league when on November 7, 2009. At the turn of the 2010-2011 season, the coach, Touré was not captain but he remains the first choice team. On January 15, 2011, he scored the first of the season. Touré has failed a drug test on March 3, 2011 and has been suspended. The World Anti-Doping Agency imposed a six-month suspension of her start date of March 2, 2011. In January 2012, Touré to the African Cup of Nations with speculation over his future at the club. Touré international career with the national team of Ivory Coast started in 2000. Originally debuted in April 2000 against Rwanda. He played in all matches for Ivory Coast and was runner-up in the Nations Cup in January 2006 in Egypt. Touré included in the 23-man squad for the FIFA World Cup was first played in 2006 and the defeat against Argentina on June 11, 2006.
