Andrew Thomas "Andy" Carroll is an English footballer who was born in Gateshead, England on January 6, 1989 and he played in the striker position with the England national team and English club Liverpool.
Carroll began his career with the international football club Newcastle in 2006 and he made his debut on November 2, 2006 when he was 17 years 300 days. In the UEFA Cup win over Palermo when he became an substitute and became the youngest player to ever represent Newcastle in Europe. Carroll's debut in the FA Cup on January 17, 2007 as a substitute against Birmingham. He was a substitute on February 25, 2007 when the Premier League match against Wigan.
