Simão Sabrosa is a Portuguese footballer who played in the winger position with the club Besiktas.
Simão was born in a village in Vila Real and started his career with the club in 1997 when Sporting Clube de Portugal for two years. At the beginning of the season he played in 53 appearances and scored twelve goals. After two years of joining the Sporting CP, Simão moved to Barcelona in 1999-2001, he managed to score three goals in 46 appearances. Then he decided to join Benfica in 2001-2007. Simão longest club to spend time with Benfica until he could print the seventy-six goals in 172 appearances. After six years playing with Benfica, Simão moved to Atletico Madrid. He played for three years between the year 2007-2010 by making his debut as much as 113 appearances and scored twenty goals. After the contract with Atletico Madrid ended, Simão played at Besiktas began in 2011 and has scored five goals so far and made his debut as much as fifteen times a game.
His career began with Portugal's national team in 1998-2000 when he played for the U-21 and scored twenty-one goals in fifteen appearances.
Simão recorded entrance in Portugal national team squad at UEFA EURO 2008 qualifiers and players who elected to Portugal at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
