Fabio Quagliarella is an Italian footballer who was born on January 31, 1983 in Castellammare of Stabia, Italy and he plays as a striker with one of the Italian club Juventus and Italy joined in the national team.
Quagliarella started his career at the club and Torino in Serie A debut initially as against Piacenza on May 14, 2000, he made four appearances in Serie A in season 2001-2002. Quagliarella then loaned to the club Florentina Viola at the time in Serie C2 and Chieti. He returned to Torino in 2004 and scored eight goals in Serie B and one goal against Ascoli at the time when the play-offs. Since there are financial problems in Torino, the club remained in Serie B and the players allowed to leave the club for free.
Quagliarella joined Udinese on summer 2005, and the club sold half of registrations for new Ascoli promotions. Quagliarella then played with Ascoli but only one season and then he was loaned out to Sampdoria by transferring half Ascoli registration rights.
During the joint club Quagliarella scored 13 goals in 2006-2007 season plus one more goal in seven games Coppa Italia 2006-2007. On June 21, 2007, Udinese took over full ownership of Quagliarella through auction. On July 5, 2007 Quagliarella replaced Iaquinta. He played the entire game on a regular basis in the 2007-2008 season and scored twelve goals.
On June 1, 2009 Quagliarella during the five-year contract with Napoli, he scored 11 goals in Serie A and delivers Napoli qualify for UEFA Europa League 2010-11. He played his last match for Napoli in the tournament when it won against IF Elfsborg.
On August 27, 2010, Quagliarella as a player signed loans club Juventus amounting to € 4,500,000 with an option to become a permanent player at € 10.5 million paid over three years. Before the winter holidays Quagliarella became top scorer with 9 goals in 17 league appearances. But on January 6, 2010, he suffered an injury and missed the rest of the season. Quagliarella also can not play for Juventus in the European League.
After an impressive performance Quagliarella with Sampdoria in the seasons 2006-2007, he was called Gli Azzurri squad for the friendly match against Romania in February but the match was delayed because of unrest in the Serie A. Then Quagliarella played for the Italian national team in March for UEFA EURO 2008 qualifiers against Scotland and made his debut as a substitute. On June 6, 2007, he started his first game with Italy and scored two goals in the first qualifying win against Lithuania in Euro 2008 and on February 6, he scored the third goal against Italy in Portugal victory in an international friendly match in Zurich. Subsequently in June 2010 Quagliarella scored the header in the final game against Switzerland before the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Quagliarella included in Italy squad for UEFA EURO 2008 and FIFA World Cup 2010. In 2010 FIFA World Cup matches he played in Group F while Slovakia defeated.
