Andrea Pirlo is an Italian footballer who plays for Serie A's biggest clubs Italia League with Milan and became one of Italy's national team players.
Pirlo played with AC Milan since 2001 and was elected strengthening the senior Italian national teams since 2002.
He was born in Flero, Lombardy, Italy on 19 May 1979 and is known to play in the position of deep-playmaker who moves to outwit the opponent and he is one of the best players in this position. Pirlo is also known as set-piece specialist players.
During his career in football, Pirlo has played for Italy youth teams U-15, U-18 and U-21. He had become captain of the team in the tournament and scored victories in 2000 and as the Golden Player and top scorer in the tournament.
Pirlo joined the Italian senior national team during World Cup qualifiers FIFA 2002 and became captain of the team that won a bronze medal at the 2004 Olympics. Pirlo also helped Italy win the 2006 FIFA World Cup and he played very well in his position than other players in the tournament which eventually won the Bronze Ball (third best player in tournament).
Along with the Milan club, he has won two UEFA Champions League in 2003 and 2007, two European Super Cup in 2003 and 2007, a scudetto in 2004, the Italian Super Cup in 2004, once the Club World Cup in 2006 and Cup Italy in 2003.
He Came in third and second in IFFHS World playmaker of the Year awards in 2006 and 2007. And by his friends, Pirlo is nicknamed 'I arccitetto' (architects) as they often create opportunities and score for the Italian national team is nicknamed 'Gli Azzurri'.
