Ernesto Javier Chevanton Espinosa is the full name of the Uruguayan footballer who plays as a striker. He was born on August 12, 1980 in Juan Lacaze, Uruguay. Chavanton has obtained Spanish passport after playing several years in Spain.
He's been trained by U.S. Lecce sporting director Pantaleo Corvino named and signing a contract in the summer of 2001. Although he has scored 12 goals in 27 games, but Lecce relegated to Serie B and Chenvanton still play there. While in Serie B, Chenvanton scored 18 goals in 30 games and helped Lecce promotion back to domestic football league. In Serie A in season 2003-2004, he became the fourth tournament scorer with 19 goals and became the leading scorer of all time Lecce.
In July 2004, Chenvanton signed a contract with Monaco for 4 years with a value of € 10M after Morientes returned to Real Madrid for the loan period has expired. Career Chenvanton with Uruguayan national team when he was included in the Uruguay squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in September against Argentina and in October against Bolivia after Uruguay failed to qualify for the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Chenvanton play the game as a substitute for the injured Forlan against Argentina but his condition weakened when against Bolivia.
