Arne Friedrich is a German international football defender

Arne Friedrich was a German citizen born footballer in Bad Oeynhausen, West Germany on May 29, 1979 and he played at center back position.
In the 2000-2001 seasons, signed a first professional contract. Friedrich's first time playing with the club Bielefeld. Together Bielefeld, he played for two years and became a starter at the club.
In 2002, Friedrich join Herta BSC and he helped the club win the DFB-Pokal League in 2002 by beating Munich, Dortmund and Shalke 04. In the 2004-2005 season, he became captain of the club and signed a contract extension until summer 2012, but when Herta degraded in the year 2010, Friedrich left Herta to join Wolsfburg for three years with a value of about € 2 miliion.
Friedrich began his football career with the German national team in the game for U-21 and performed once for the German B-team. On August 21, 2002, when Friedrich made his debut against Bulgaria senior. In the UEFA Euro 2004, played in three games before the Germans finally eliminated. On December 21, 2004, Friedrich was elected as captain when the friendly match against Thailand in Bangkok.
In 2005, Germany hosted the World Cup and participated in the Confederations Cup. Friedrich skud 23 players signed in Germany in the FIFA World Cup Germany 2006 that eventually was ranked third.
In the UEFA Euro 2008, Friedrich was still believed to enter the German squad that was originally intended as a substitute.
In March 2009, Friedrich international scored for Germany on July 3, 2010 and Germany in the quarter-final win against Argentina at the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
