Branislav Ivanović is an international footballer who played in the position of right back and center back. Ivanović have a relationship with Đorđe Milovanović former Red Star Belgrade player, and his son Dejan Milovanović footballer who also played for French club Lens. Ivanović debut the first time with the national team of Serbia U-21 level on December 15, 2003 in Orchid against Macedonia. Ivanović participate in the 2006 U-21 Championships in Portugal and appeared in four games, scoring one goal. Ivanović holds the honor of being the captain of the national team of Serbia in the final of the U-21 Championships in 2007 and lost against the Dutch.
Ivanović perform in a friendly against Italy on June 8, 2008 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. On September 12, 2007, Ivanović's first international goal in the EURO 2008 qualifier against Portugal in Lisbon. Although the club did not get the main venue, Ivanović continues to be the choice of Serbian national team in World Cup qualifying campaign beginning in 2010. Commencing on March 29, 2009, Ivanović scored the most goals in the UEFA with group seven and three goals in World Cup qualifying in 2010 with the national team of Serbia.
