Vincenzo 'Vince' Grella is an Australian footballer to play in the defensive midfielder position and was born on October 5, 1979 in Melbourne, Australia. Grella served 10 years in Italy's professional Leagues before starting his career in Australia NSL. Grella had registered to play in World Cup 2006 and the Asian Cup in 2007. On August 28, 2008, Grella joined the Home Premire League with Blackburn Rovers for four years with a value estimated at around £ 4m transfer. Grella had represented Australia at Under-23 Olympiad in 2000 and played in an international friendly match against England in 2003. In November 2005 he played in World Cup play-off against Uruguay, which Australia for the first time entered the World Cup qualifier in 32 years.
