Lars Christian Jacobsen is a Danish footballer who was born in Odense on Fyn on the date 20 September 1979 and he played at right back position. Jacobsen began his career at local club that is Odense Boldklub (OB). OB in his senior debut with the Danish Superliga 1996-97 season. Then in 2002-2003 he was playing in Hamburg during the first half year. In 2003 when the transfer window opened, Jacobsen moved to Germany to play at FC Copenhagen. Jacobsen is one of the FCK players who attracted international attention in FCK's UEFA Champions League. Jacobsen left the club at the time free transfer in June 2007. Jacobsen then signed a contract with a club in Germany with FC Nuremberg in July 2007. During club FC Nuremberg Jacobsen injury so often he was asked to leave the club at the end of June 2008. In August 2008, Jacobsen signed a contract for one year in Home Premier League club Everton with a free transfer. Premire League debut at the date of March 21, 2009. Jacobsen moved to Portsmouth FC on a part season to continue playing in the FA Cup at the end of 2009. On June 29, 2009, Jacobsen joined Blackurn Rovers for two years until summer 2011.
