Barry Ferguson MBE is a Scottish footballer who played in the midfielder position. Ferguson was born in Glasgow, Scotland on February 2, 1978. Ferguson made his debut with the Scottish club and the beginning he played against Werder Bremen in the UEFA Cup. His early career when he played in the Rangers in the year 1984-2003. Ferguson has made 82 appearances in European competition and all for the Rangers. He is a European player with most appearances. Ferguson joined Blackburn Rovers on August 29, 2003 and his debut against Liverpool on September 19 at the Edwood Park. In 2005-2009, Ferguson rejoined Rangers and he played in the 2005 Scottish League Cup Final to win the league at the end of the season. Ferguson moved to Premire League with the club Birmingham City for three years on July 17, 2009.
