Lukas Podolski is a German footballer who was born in Poland. He played in the position of striker or winger for the German national team.
Podolski began his football career with the club Konl in 1995 where he entered in the main squad in 2003 and he made 81 appearances for the club before moving to Bayern Munich.
After over three years in Munich, in 2004 he appeared in all major tournaments with the German national team. Although Podolski eligible to play with the Polish national team but he preferred to play with the German national team.
