Mauro German Camoranesi or known by the name of Mauro Camoranesi is Italian football player who was born in Tandil, Argentina on October 4, 1976. He played in the midfielder position.
He is a footballer who took part won the 2006 FIFA World Cup for Italy and now joined the club in the Primera Division Argentina with Lanus.
Camoranesi become a fan of Club Atletico River Palate Argentina and he plays for Club Atletico Aldovisi located at his birthplace in the area of Tandil Mal de Plata. But he began playing professionally in Mexico with Santos Laguna who won the Primera Division de Mexico during the Invierno 1996 season. Camoranesi scored 1 goal in 13 matches. He was dubbed 'El Cholo'. Next, Camoranesi played in Montevideo Uruguay Wanderes club before eventually returning to Argentina and played for Banfield.
The next season in 1998-2000, Camoranesi back joined the club in Mexico with Cruz Azul, which in turn pulled one Italian club Verona and playing for 2 years. Done with Verona, he agreed to sign a contract with a big Italian club Juventus who originally paid € 4,800,000 and give ownership of Max Vieri.

On January 26, 2011, he decided to stop defending Stuttgart and back to Argentina to continue his career. The contract was signed for 2 years on February 2, 2011 with the club Lanus.
Camoranesi has a dual citizenship of Italy-Argentina and allowed him to play for 2 countries. But the Azzurri have shown interest in the first time to include him in the national team on 12 February 2003. The first time when Italy's debut against Portugal under coach Trapattoni. Camoranesi played for Italy at UEFA EURO 2004 and also become part of the national team for the 2006 FIFA World Cup led by Lippi. He has made 55 appearances and scored 5 goals.
